These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Timeterest, including the website, mobile applications, and related services (the “Platform”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1) About the Platform

Timeterest is an African community designed to connect, educate, and inspire entrepreneurs through events, networking, content, jobs, courses, blogs, offers, forums, groups, and community-driven opportunities.

2) Eligibility

You must be able to form a legally binding agreement under applicable law. You agree not to misuse the Platform.

3) Account Registration and Security

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.
• You agree to notify us if your account is compromised.

4) Community Standards (Acceptable Use)

You agree not to:

• post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, or threatening;
• post spam, scams, or misleading offers;
• impersonate others or misrepresent identity;
• upload content that violates copyright, trademark, or third-party rights;
• use the Platform for illegal activities;
• interfere with Platform operation, security, or user experience.

We may remove content or suspend accounts to maintain safety and integrity.

5) Content Ownership and License

• You retain ownership of your content.
• By posting on Timeterest, you grant Timeterest a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and promote that content to other users of the Platform, consistent with the service.

6) Subscriptions and Premium Content

Timeterest may offer:

• Timeterest Pro subscription plans, and/or
• subscriptions to premium content created by users.

Important points:

• Charges, renewals, and refund policies depend on the plan you select and the payment provider.
• Subscriptions may be canceled or paused according to the available options on the Platform.

7) Tips, Donations, and Project Funding Campaigns (if applicable)

If the Platform allows:

• tips for content,
• donations to campaigns, and
• project funding campaigns,

you agree that:

• payments are handled through payment processors;
• Timeterest is not always the direct beneficiary of donations unless clearly stated;
• campaign creators are responsible for how funded projects are used, subject to any campaign details and local laws.

8) Affiliate Program and Commissions (if applicable)

Timeterest may provide an affiliate/refer-a-friend feature:

• Referrers may earn commissions when referred users purchase Timeterest Pro or subscribe to premium content.
• Timeterest may change affiliate terms, commission rates, eligibility, or tracking methods at any time.

9) Jobs, Offers, and Courses

Job listings, offers, and course materials posted by members are posted by those members.
Timeterest is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or completion of third-party content, employment arrangements, or transactions.

You are encouraged to verify opportunities before engaging.

10) Events and Third-Party Services

Events may be organized by Timeterest or members/partners. By attending, you agree to follow event instructions and applicable rules.

11) Disclaimers

Timeterest provides the Platform “as is” and “as available”.
We do not guarantee:

• that the Platform will be error-free,
• that content is always accurate or complete,
• or that interactions will result in employment or business outcomes.

12) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Timeterest will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

13) Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in misconduct, or misuse the Platform.

14) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective Date” above will indicate when changes occur. Continued use of the Platform after updates means you accept the new Terms.

15) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Federal Republic of Nigeria.
